Biography

Hi, I am Yongkun (Rocky) WU, a PhD student of HKUST Vision and System Design Lab (VSDL) led by Prof. Tim Cheng at the Department of Electronic & Computer Engineering in The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and a student researcher of the AI Chip Center for Emerging Smart Systems (ACCESS). I am also fortunate to be mentored by Prof. Fengbin Tu and Prof. CY Tsui. Previously, I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree from the School of Electronic Science and Engineering, Nanjing University, where I was advised by Prof. Li DU and Xiaoliang CHEN in Intelligent Sensing and Communication Lab.

My research interests include hardware-software co-design for deep neural network, computing-in-memory architecture, and AI chip system design. I also enjoy photographing, hiking as well as playing table tennis. Please feel free to contact me.
